Department of Bibliography, Recording and Digitization

The Bibliography Department is a structural unit that contributes to the development and efficient organization of the informational and scientific activities of the Komitas Museum-Institute. The department provides reference and bibliographic services to readers and researchers, creates and maintains bibliographic databases, and compiles thematic, individual, and anniversary bibliographic indexes and lists. The department comprises experienced specialists in the field of bibliography, information technology, and related fields, whose professional training and knowledge contribute to the scientific analysis of the heritage of Komitas Vardapet.

The Sound Library and Digitization Sub-division is responsible for the preservation, restoration, and digitization of sound heritage, audio/video media, and documents—ensuring the long-term preservation
of materials with historical, cultural, and scientific value, as well as providing access to them for researchers and the general public.
