Exhibition Department
The exhibition department of the museum is a structural subdivision of the Komitas Museum-Institute. It is responsible for the comprehensive promotion of the life and creative path, as well as scientific and spiritual legacy of Komitas.
Main areas of the exhibition department
- Exhibition coordination. The continuous running of eight thematic halls of the permanent exhibition.
- Organization of temporary exhibitions. Regularly organizing new temporary exhibitions dedicated both to the activities of Komitas and his contemporaries, and to various art forms (music, painting, photography, graphic arts).
- Implementation of new technologies. Modern multimedia solutions are being integrated into the exhibitions: the Komitas Audio Library and a VR-zone have been created. Continuous playback of Komitas’s music and the operation of information screens are maintained throughout the halls.
