PhD candidate at the Institute of Arts NAS of the RA
In 2018, S. Simonyan received her bachelor's degree at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, under the supervision of PhD in Art Studies, Professor M. A. Kokzhaev, with a thesis entitled "Different Models of the Form-Building of Armenian Contemporary Symphonic Music".
In 2020, she received her master's degree with a thesis entitled "The Tone System as a Means of National Thinking in the Compositional Works of Different Countries". In 2019, she studied at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, at the Faculty of Ethnomusicology, under the supervision of J. Ribeiro.
Since 2017, she has been working at the Komitas Museum-Institute as a specialist in educational programs.
She has participated in national and international conferences with theoretical and analytical reports. S. Simonyan is the author of articles that have been published in scientific journals.
